What to bring to your first appointment
Please bring the following items to your appointment (or send them to us in advance):
A referral letter from your GP or medical specialist
A completed patient registration form (provided by our rooms or available for download)
Any relevant radiology reports (r-ray, MRI, CT, bone scan, etc.)
An up-to-date list of your current medications
Any previous letters or documentation related to your condition
Cancelling an appointment
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible so we can offer the time to another patient.
We kindly request at least one business days’ notice for cancellations.
Consultation fees
Initial consultation - standard: $280.00
Initial consultation - second opinion or complex condition: $350.00
Review consultation: $165.00
With a valid referral from your doctor, these fees attract a Medicare rebate, which we can process electronically on your behalf at the time of payment.
If you are an existing patient and have not seen Mr Patten for two years or more, your next appointment will be charged as an initial consultation. This allows sufficient time for a comprehensive reassessment.
The higher fee for second opinions and complex conditions reflects the additional time required to review detailed medical history, documentation, and imaging.
Payment is required on the day of your appointment.
We accept EFTPOS, Visa and Mastercard.
We do not accept cash, cheque or American Express.
