Mr Patten is a Melbourne and internationally trained senior orthopaedic surgeon with extensive expertise in the management of hip and knee conditions. He has a particular focus in primary and revision joint replacement.

He is highly experienced in treating complex hip and knee conditions arising from arthritis, deformities, trauma, and sporting injuries. Mr Patten has decades of experience in providing individualised care from young adults with congenital deformities to elderly patients with complex medical profiles. As a result of his expertise in difficult and complex cases he often receives referral patients from his orthopaedic colleagues.

Mr Patten welcomes patients who are privately insured, uninsured or covered by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA), WorkCover and the Transport Accident Commission (TAC).

He currently serves as the Lead Arthroplasty Clinician at Epworth HealthCare where he is actively involved in training and mentoring the next generation of surgeons.

Mr Patten’s practice is supported by a highly experienced administrative team with extensive expertise in orthopaedics and medico-legal matters, ensuring a smooth and informed patient experience.
